Today the students and teachers of Miss Porter's school, who came here to volunteer for two weeks, are leaving. We are very thankful for their visit and our girls, who quickly made friends with Miss Porter's students, are very sad that they already have to leave after such a short time.
Before coming here, Miss Porter's had raised a lot of money for a new building which they started constructing themselves when they arrived here. Apart from that they helped us by painting one of our buildings, giving the girls extracurricular lessons and supporting us in many other activities.
Miss Porter's School is preparing a website about their stay at Bethsaida. It's link will be published here as soon as the site is finished.
