Picnic on Kigamboni

Today was a great day. All Form IV girls had been invited by the UNSG (United Nations Spouse Group) and a staff member of the World Bank to his lovely home on the beach in Kigamboni. Pudenciana Petro, Form IV, wrote about it:

On 7thJune 2009 the form IV students of Bethsaida Girls' Secondary School were invited for a nice picnic by the United Nations Spouse Group and a member from the World Bank at Kigamboni in Dar es Salaam.

They reached at 10:20 am. They received the necklac as the gifts. Then the hosts welcomed the students to have different kinds of drinks. The drinks were very nice and the students enjoyed much. After that the hosts and the students joined together and went to the beach. There they swarmed and the students felt happy because tyhe hosts regarded them as their children. Later they gathered together and had a very nice lunch. Different delicious food and fruits were prepared. After having lunch time an entertainment time followed and different games were played while others danced to music.

About 5:30 pm the students thanked much their hosts for being with them and having a nice and delicious meal. Then the Form IV students returned back to school and they were glad to have such a nice picnic.

Thank you very much for that wonderful day, the girls will not forget it. (Pictures will follow soon!)
