We are glad to announce, that after hard work of some former volunteers,now there is a sponsor for each of the form 4 girls!
Thanks to all those who support the girls in their further education!
Now they can prepare for their national exams without worrying!

150 Chicks and their Coop!

After two months of planning, constructions and preparations our new chicken coop has been inaugurated by 150 one day old chicks. Lisa is leaving again

Today very early morning our sister Lisa had to leave Bethsaida again after having stayed with us for only two short weeks. The girls were so happy to see her again and we hope that one day she will be able to make it back a third time!

New Volunteers: Marie Haibt and Manuel Baur

Today the second generation of German long term volunteers has arrived: Marie Haibt, 19, and Manuel Baur, 20, will stay with us for one year. Right now they are being introduced and shown around by the old German long term volunteers, Sarah and Alex, who are leaving Bethsaida on September 3rd.

Sponsorship Programme

Bethsaida's new manager: Mama Irafay

From today on the school has a new (and actually its first) manager. Elizabeth Irafay, a retired teacher and board member of the Bethsaida School, is here to supervise and coordinate everything that is going on here.

New Volunteer: Lisa

It seems that these days are the days of return. After Jordan, Penny and Kathy now also Lisa from New Zealand has found her way back to Bethsaida. Unfortunately she can only stay for the period of two weeks (stupid work!), but anyway we are very happy about the time we have with her as the girls wee emembering her so well!
