Born 8 April 1990 in Morogoro
Favorite subjects:
Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
Future dreams:
Happy says that she wants to become an engineer because she knows how to draw. By that, she probably means that she would like to be an architect. If that shouldn’t work out she plans on becoming a tour guide for Tanzania.
Hobbies:
In her free time Happy enjoys very much to dance. Apart from that she also likes to draw and read story-books.
Her parents:
Since she was born, Happy had been living together with her parents in Dar es Salaam. But when she was in Standard Four her father left the family for reasons Happy does not know. Two years later, Happy’s mother died of an unknown disease, all Happy knows about it is that she got sick and died quickly. Despite of her mother’s death her father did not try to take care of Happy again.
Her siblings:
Happy has three elder brothers (Michael, Dennis and Richard) who she all likes very much.
Her guardian:
Dennis, Happy’s second eldest brother, is her guardian.
How Happy came to Bethsaida:
When their mother died, Dennis and his wife started taking care of Happy and continued living in their parents’ house. Then, when Happy finished Standard 7 about two years later, she moved in with her aunt for one year. It was also her aunt who heard about Bethsaida in an announcement, sent Happy here to get interviewed and tested and made it possible for Happy to get her secondary education.
What Happy wants others to know about her:
“I’d like to tell the people that I would be very thankful if they could help me fulfilling my dreams.” Apart from the future dreams that have already been mentioned it is her secret dream to be a singer one day.
